Swansea City captain Ashley Williams admits they allowed their standards to drop in defeat to Manchester City.
The Swans must raise their game for Wednesday's visit of Newcastle, following a dismal run of just one win in their last eight games.
Williams, 29, said: "We have to expect more from ourselves.
"We can talk more, we can show more attention. We gave away a lot of sloppy balls in midfield, you can't do that. I'm not pleased. Everyone, myself included, can do better."
