QPR boss Harry Redknapp says Leroy Fer is in good spirits, despite finding himself in the middle of a race row.

Fer received racist abuse over a photo he posted online while on international duty with Holland.

Dutch football authorities have called for a criminal investigation over the abuse.

"He has trained well this week," said QPR boss Redknapp. "I have not discussed it with him because I do not know anything about it."
