PSV Eindhoven ace Memphis Depay has sent social media into meltdown. The Daily Star says he may have dropped a huge hint the he will snub Manchester United in favour of Liverpool.

The fleet-footed PSV Eindhoven winger sent Twitter into meltdown after he liked a post welcoming him to Liverpool on his official Facebook account.

The post was liked by Depay's verified Facebook account that has over 688,000 followers.

It's not the first time Depay has used social media to cause a transfer stir, nor is it the second.

Last month Depay favourited a Tweet from a Manchester United fan who threatened to 'consider ending his life' if he joined Liverpool.

A week prior to that, Depay sparked a transfer frenzy when favouriting a link to a report claiming he would soon make his long-awaited switch to Old Trafford.
