Norwich City boss Chris Hughton was pleased with Josh Murphy's goalscoring performance in their Capital One Cup win at Watford.
Academy graduate Murphy had travelled with the Norwich squad and made an instant impact as he thrashed home a 76th-minute screamer that set the Canaries on their way to a superb comeback win.
"With Josh I thought he would certainly benefit from the open spaces," he said.
"My intention was to always involve him and I thought long and hard about starting him and perhaps the result on Saturday changed my mind but I'm delighted he was in the squad and produced the goal that got us back in the game."
