Fulham boss Rene Meulensteen says Bryan Ruiz has been granted permission to speak with interested clubs.
Ruiz has started just one game since Meulensteen replaced Martin Jol at Craven Cottage.
The Costa Rica forward, 28, has been linked with a move to Real Betis and Meulensteen said: "We have allowed Bryan to talk to a number of clubs to see if something can come out of that. He is a very good player but he has got a World Cup coming up and I can understand that he wants to play. I can't guarantee that. There is some contact in Spain and Holland could be another option."
