Ex-QPR coach Hoddle "baffled" by Barton's "bad eggs" claim

Former QPR coach Glenn Hoddle says he's "baffled" by Joey Barton's "bad eggs" claim before yesterday's humiliation at Manchester City.

Hoddle was complimentary of the QPR squad and says that morale was always high during his spell at the club.

"I'm a little bit baffled by what he's (Barton) trying to put across there, especially about being a wrong 'un," he said before kick-off.

"I didn't find there were any wrong 'uns in that club at all. I know everyone was kicking in the right direction and trying their very best.

"I think everyone has made mistakes, Joey is included in that and I don't understand who he is saying the two bad eggs are."
