Jack Wilshere was back to his old self for Arsenal U21s yesterday.
The England midfielder was involved in both goals in a 2-1 win at Everton, the first time Wilshere has completed a competitive game since his 14-month injury absence.
Arsenal had gone behind but Wilshere's perfect pass to Jernade Meade allowed the left-back to cross for Thomas Eisfeld to equalise after 12 minutes.
Later in the first-half Wilshere set up Eisfeld himself and the German teenager put Arsenal ahead. Wilshere was booked for a foul on Francisco Junior with six minutes left.
