Former Chelsea boss Graham Potter remains a contender for the Ajax post.

It has been claimed Potter held talks with Ajax last month about taking charge this summer before turning the job down.

De Telegraaf says Potter and Nice coach Francesco Farioli are being discussed inside Ajax. Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag is also being considered by his old club.

John van't Schip will step down as caretaker coach at the end of the season.

For his part, Potter is keeping his options open, though talks have been resumed with Ajax this week.
