Wigan Athletic have clinched a deal for Arsenal winger Ryo Miyaichi.

Miyaichi has joined Wigan on a season-long loan.

An Arsenal statement read: "Ryo heads to the DW Stadium to gain further first-team experience under Roberto Martinez.

"Everyone at Arsenal Football Club wishes Ryo the best of luck during his time with Wigan."
