West Ham United are closing in on Stuttgart defender Antonio Rudiger according to reports.
The Daily Mail suggests that the Hammers are extremely keen on the 21-year old German centre-back and could make a £7million move for him in the current transfer window.
Rudiger has been at Stuttgart since joining from Borussia Dortmund's youth academy in 2011 and has impressed in recent time, making 35 of his 60 appearances last season.
However, Stuttgart director of football Fredi Bobic expects Rudiger to be at the Mercedes-Benz Arena next term.
"Our aim is to make sure he stays and continues playing for us next season," he said.
