West Bromwich Albion have reportedly made an enquiry for Watford ace Troy Deeney.
The Daily Mail suggests that the Baggies have made a move for the 26-year old striker who has nine Championship goals this season.
It is believed that new Albion boss Tony Pulis is keen to bring Deeney to The Hawthorns this January but he may face stiff competition from Swansea City who are preparing for the expected departure of Wilfried Bony to Manchester City.
Deeney, who joined Watford from Walsall in 2010, has scored 69 goals in 198 appearances for the Vicarage Road outfit.
