Arsenal will wait before delving into the transfer market for a new defensive midfielder this summer.
They are the sentiments of manager Arsene Wenger who is unsure if he will need to buy a new holding player at the end of the season such is the current form of Francis Coquelin.
Regarding a new signing in that position, which has been a problem for the Gunners in the last few seasons, Wenger said: "I don't know yet.
"I will wait until the end of the season to see how well things go and where we are.
"I think he analysed well what he is good at. Defending in midfield. He restricted his game to that and you make success in life with what you're good at. You don't have all the qualities but you have to express what you're good at and he's good at that."
