Gabby Agbonlahor says he's Aston Villa through-and-through.

He said: "I want to improve myself in every way and I'm trying hard to learn from as many players as I can.

"I grew up as a Villa fan and I can remember watching both Tony Daley and Dalian Atkinson.

"They both had a tremendous turn of speed but Daley in particular got much better when with more games he learned to do different things with the ball.

"There's no doubt that you have to have something more to your game and to keep adding extra bits if you are going to have any sort of career in the Premier League.

"Defenders watch videos, and everything every player does is analysed and studied so it's important that you can't keep relying on the same things to get past them.

"I've got people like Ashley Young and Shaun Maloney to train alongside who have got lots of tricks. When I see them try something with the ball to beat a player I try to use the same thing.

"Spurs are not having the best time and hopefully that makes it a good opportunity for us to be playing them."
