Emanuel Villa has promised Derby County fans there's more to come from him after his first goal for the club in their draw with Birmingham City.
"But it's a good start and a step in the right direction, both in terms of the point and the goal for me. Let's hope it's the first of many more.
He added: "There will be more to come from me. The football's very, very different here but the aim right now is to make the settling-in process as short as possible.
"I've got every confidence in my colleagues and the management team.
"I'm very much aware I'm in a transitional period. I'm settling in, I'm getting to know a kind of football that's very different to what I'm used to.
"So from that point of view it's great to score a goal. Scoring will help in terms of motivation."
