Valencia are confident of signing Manchester United striker Radamel Falcao this summer.
The People says super-agent Jorge Mendes is now convinced Manchester United won't sign the on-loan Monaco striker permanently.
Mendes is thought to have already held talks with Monaco about a deal with Valencia - who are ironically owned by United fan Peter Lim, a billionaire businessman from Singapore.
Although Monaco want £44million from Manchester United for Falcao, it's believed his performances at Old Trafford this season have forced the French club into a re-think on his value.
And it's believed Mendes will try to negotiate a more realistic £30m fee for the 29-year-old.
