Manchester United wing-back Antonio Valencia has apologised to fans and teammates for his role in Arsenal's winner on Monday.

Valencia's poor back pass allowed Danny Welbeck to nick in and score for the visitors as Arsenal dumped United out of the FA Cup 2-1.

"I want to apologise to my team-mates and the fans of Manchester United," Valencia said on Instagram.

"Tomorrow is another day and keep working," he added before tagging team-mates Marcos Rojo, Juan Mata, Ander Herrera, Rafael and Robin van Persie in the message.
