Toure insists he will stay at Man City

Yaya Toure has made it clear that he will not be leaving Manchester City this summer.

The 32-year old Ivorian midfielder has been heavily linked with a possible move away from the Etihad Stadium recently with Italian club Inter Milan constantly mentioned.

However, Toure said on Sunday that he has no plans to leave City in the next transfer window as he strives to win another Premier League title.

"I will definitely stay," he said in an interview with the Manchester Evening News. "The fans don't have to be worried.

"My target this year is to try to do everything possible to make this team improve well.

"I am sure with my experience, (and) maybe I hope, with the players coming in a couple of weeks, a couple of months, definitely it is going to be a strong City next year."
