Now that Ghana captain Stephen Appiah is now a free agent, English clubs are pouncing including Tottenham who are indeed very interested.
Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp would love to secure his services and has been watching him for awhile but is wary due to the amount of clubs circling.
Back in September, Redknapp had this to say about the former Fenerbahce player.
"I'd love to sign Appiah and we are interested in him but it's going to be tough to get him," Redknapp said.
"There are a lot of clubs chasing him, clubs like West Ham and Arsenal, and I'm sure Juventus will want him back as well.
"He's a terrific player for somebody on a free. I've asked about him in the past and I watched him plenty of times when I was looking at Sulley Muntari and they played together for Ghana."
