Jay Chapman has labeled David Silva as the best player that he has ever come up against.

The 21-year old Toronto FC midfielder took on the World Cup-winning playmaker in Wednesday night's international friendly with Manchester City at BMO Field and was clearly impressed.

"David Silva was fantastic," Chapman said. "Best player I've played against by a long shot.

"Honestly it was just good to be on the pitch with those guys. And, sometimes, my head was spinning a little bit watching them dance around but it was all good fun.

"It was a great experience."

City saluted 1-0 thanks to a stunning 84th-minute effort from young midfielder George Evans.
