Sampdoria striker Stefano Okaka is interesting Swansea City.

Swans boss Garry Monk is in the market for a new centre-forward signing with Wilfried Bony moving to Manchester City.

Danilo Stavola, Swansea's Italian scout, has raised the prospect of signing Okaka in discussions with Monk, says TMW.

The former Fulham striker has rebuilt his career at Samp, where he has earned his first Italy cap this season. Okaka is expected to move on at the end of the season, but that could be brought forward if Swansea come up with the right offer.

Okaka spent two years in London with Fulham, but struggled to make an impression.
