Swansea through to Europa League play-off

Swansea City are into the play-off qualifier for the 2013/14 Europa League season.

The Welsh club forced a 0-0 draw with Swedish side Malmo at the Swedbank Stadion on Thursday night to move through to the final qualifier 4-0 on aggregate following last week's win at the Liberty Stadium.

Goalkeeper Gerhard Tremmel was on form to help the Swans keep a clean sheet whilst Michu and Wayne Routledge went close in the first half and Wilfried Bony had the ball in the back of the net but was flagged offside.

In the end, however, Swansea did enough in the first leg to get through and will now find out their play-off opponent for the group stage proper on Friday.
