Stoke City boss Tony Pulis will recall Thomas Sorensen for the FA Cup tie with Brighton.
He insisted Sorensen's return had nothing to do with Asmir Begovic's late and costly fumble in the defeat at Birmingham.
"Thomas has played in all our FA Cup ties and he was always coming back into the team for the Brighton game," he told The Sentinel.
"Asmir has been fine this week. Making mistakes and bouncing back from them is all part of a player's education.
"And when you're playing youngsters, you have to accept there will be mistakes. But Asmir remains a good prospect and nothing that happened last Saturday will change that."
