Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp has hailed the backroom team Tony Pulis has assembled at Stoke City.
Before yesterday's defeat, Redknapp wrote in his Spurs match programme notes: "Tony worked with me during my time at Bournemouth. He did a fantastic job for me as a player there and was part of the side that won the old Third Division title, earning promotion to what is now known as the Championship for the first time in their history.
"Tony was a midfielder for me back then and later became my assistant at Dean Court. I always knew he would go on to be a terrific manager and he has proven that with his work at the Britannia Stadium.
"He could not have a better group of guys working with him either. Their First Team Coach Mark O'Connor played in that same championship-winning side for me at Bournemouth as a left winger, Peter Reid is another good friend of mine who was recently installed as Assistant Manager, while their Director of Football John Rudge played alongside me during my playing days at Bournemouth.
"I know the chairman Peter Coates well too. He is a lovely man who has done a great job there and given Tony terrific support."
