Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp made a new personal check on Ajax defender Jan Vertonghen last night.
Redknapp made it to Wembley to see the Belgium international in defeat to England.
Vertonghen has already declared he wants a move to Spurs, despite rival interest from Arsenal.
