Sporting Lisbon cannot rule out selling striker Ricky van Wolfswinkel in the coming days.

The Dutchman's agent confirmed the interest of Newcastle United last week, while Norwich City and Tottenham are also keen.

"A departure for Van Wolfswinkel cannot be ruled out, since there is a lot of interest. If he actually leaves, there will be another player arrive.

"I am not in favor of the departure of Van Wolfswinkel , let that be clear," said Sporting coach Jesualdo Ferreira.
