The Premier League race for Leeds United fullback Sam Byram is intensifying.
The Daily Star says Southampton boss Ronald Koeman has reignited his interest in Leeds defender Byram.
Koeman has stepped up his interest in Byram, 21, with England defender Nathaniel Clyne yet to commit his long-term future to the club.
Dutch boss Koeman sent scouts to watch the full-back in action against Birmingham on Saturday.
Leeds rejected a bid in excess of £4m from Southampton in the summer but the Yorkshire club could now accept a cut-price bid during the current transfer window.
