Comeback kid Charlie Davies had a minor setback on Saturday night when he injured his hamstring whilst playing for DC United.
The 24-year old Sochaux striker, who is on loan to the Washington club, has made a brilliant return to professional soccer after sustaining career-threatening injuries late in 2009 courtesy of a car accident.
Davies has enjoyed a stellar start to the 2011 MLS season with six goals in nine appearances and was hoping to make an impression on US national team boss Bob Bradley on the weekend but unfortunately, his night against the Colorado Rapids ended just after the half-hour mark when he could not go on any further because of the hamstring issue.
