Siena president Massimo Mezzaroma is convinced of big things from Mattia Destro.
Destro joined the Tuscan club on loan in the summer from Genoa, but with an obligation to buy 50 per cent of his contract in the summer.
He's since been linked with sides such as Inter - his former club - and Juventus, a fact that doesn't surprise the Siena chief.
"Destro is an Italian footballing asset," Mezzaroma told Sky Sport Italia. "This experience here with us is helping him to grow.
"We'll assess his future in the next few months, but he's happy at Siena and he should be left in peace so that he can mature."
