2010 MLS runners-up FC Dallas produced another clean sheet as they moved up to second place in the Western Conference with a 1-0 win over Seattle Sounder last night.
Brek Shea scored his fourth of the season with a lovely finish from the top of the area in the 18th minute but it was another accomplished defensive effort from the Texans, taking their run to 498 minutes without conceding a goal, that got the three points.
Seattle had 19 attempts on goal at Qwest Field but could not beat Kevin Hartman and co as Dallas moved to within five points of conference leaders LA Galaxy with their third win in four games as the Sounders fell to fifth in the West.
