Seattle Sounders set MLS crowd record for second year running

Second-year club Seattle Sounders have set an MLS record for home attendances for another year.

The Sounders surprised all by having the most supporters turn up to their games at Qwest Field last season and they are again the benchmark in 2010, eclipsing 2009's average of 30,942.

Their 36,173 this season makes them easily the best-supported team in MLS, beating LA Galaxy by about 15,000 and Toronto FC by just under 16,000.

Seattle's enjoyed a massive 36,356 for their final home game of the season on the weekend where they defeated Chivas USA 2-1.
