Lewis Holtby will not be making the move to Tottenham in January according to Andre Villas-Boas.
The Schalke midfielder has signed a pre-contract agreement with Spurs but there were some suggestions he may head to White Hart Lane much earlier than the summer.
However, Tottenham boss Villas-Boas has made it clear that the 22-year old will remain with Schalke until the end of the season.
"When you reach an agreement with a player that is a free transfer in the summer, there is always that possibility, but it is not something we are looking to do," said AVB.
