Sampdoria president Riccardo Garrone is confident seeing Antonio Cassano's contract terminated on Monday.

A tribunal was unable to make a decision yesterday after hearing from witnesses, so Monday afternoon will bring the resolution of this contract saga.

"I am confident," said President Garrone, whose blazing row with Cassano prompted this legal action to have the contract terminated for insubordination.

"As the victim in this situation, I had every right to intervene and that includes within the tribunal."
