Bacary Sagna refuses to accept Manchester City's title challenge is over after defeat to Crystal Palace.
Though many believe the champions' hopes of retaining the Premier League title are over, the defender told Sky Sports the team are focusing on returning to their best form and will do all they can to end the campaign strongly.
Echoing his manager's thoughts following the defeat to Crystal Palace, he declared: "We know it's going to be seven finals.
"That was supposed to be the first one [of eight] and we didn't take any points.
"We are quite disappointed because we created some good chances but unfortunately, we conceded some goals."
Refusing to blame the officials - as many have this morning - for the loss, he continued: "I don't know whether the first goal was offside or not but at the end of the day, we lost."
