Ronaldinho is happy seeing Lionel Messi commit to a new contract with Barcelona.

Messi is expected to put pen to paper this week.

"He's the best player in the world. He is the most critical for Barca.

"I cannot imagine Leo in another club other than Barca, but as a friend, I want to see him happy as a player.

"But for the sake of football, I want to see him in Barcelona."
