AS Roma midfielder Juan Manuel Iturbe is delighted with his end of season form.
Iturbe has begun finding himself on the scoresheet in recent weeks.
"When I arrived, I started off well," Iturbe insisted, in an interview with Roma Radio.
"I scored against Juventus and CSKA [Moscow], then I was hampered by injuries. It wasn't easy, because the knee and the ankle have to be monitored very carefully.
"It was a mess, then we were playing badly and we couldn't complete a pass, but I never gave up, I kept working to be at my best.
"We're in the Champions League [for next season] and we're happy. We've been criticised, but I dedicate the victory [in the derby] to my teammates, who have suffered with me this season."
