Roma defender Philippe Mexes is back on the agenda of AC Milan.

Mediaset says having already signed Thiago Silva, who will be available next season, Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani remains determined to make another major defensive signing.

Roma want £18 million for Mexes, which won't put off Galliani given that Alessandro Nesta, Paolo Maldini and Beppe Favalli are set to hang up their boots in the summer.
