Liverpool could retain the services of Pepe Reina and Jamie Carragher for Sunday's meeting with Aston Villa.
Goalkeeper Reina missed the past two matches with a calf problem whilst Carragher was absent from the loss to Southampton with a shin injury.
However, Reds assistant Mike Marsh suggests the defensive pairing could be back for weekend's trip to Villa Park whilst stating that none of the Anfield internationals were injured over the World Cup qualifiers week.
"They're both available for selection," he told the club's official website.
"We seem to have come through unscathed," he added.
"We've got one or two players missing who are flying back from international duty.
"They will arrive back tomorrow, they will still be in recovery and hopefully they will train on Friday."
