Real Salt Lake pair Alvaro Saborio and Javier Morales are on the verge of receiving their green cards to free up two international roster spots.
RSL general manager Garth Lagerwey suggested to Deseret News that Costa Rican forward Saborio and Argentine midfielder Morales could soon be eligible for permanent US residence.
RSL have just six international roster spots at the moment but once the green cards come through there will be eight which will be of great benefit to the 2009 MLS champions.
