Real Madrid president Florentino Perez says AC Milan supremo Adriano Galliani was key in the world record deal for Kaka.

"The negotiations for Kakà were not easy at all," said Perez.

"The Brazilian arrived for two reasons: because we wanted him and with the help of Adriano Galliani, who has done everything possible to satisfy the player."
