Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey says proving last season's FA Cup matchwinner was a dream come true.

The Wales international capped off a memorable campaign by firing in the deciding goal against Hull City at Wembley.

"It was a great day, and a great moment in my career as well," Ramsey told arsenal.com. "The winner was just an amazing feeling and a great way to end the season, and the year for me.

"We were in extra-time and my celebration, I didn't really know what to do! I was just running about and it all caught up on me then so I needed a couple of seconds just to get my breath back and realise just what I'd done.

"I was always scoring the goal in the FA Cup final [in the back garden as a kid] and, I managed to live my dream. It was definitely overwhelming."
