Real Mallorca winger Jonas Gutierrez has broken his silence over Portsmouth's renewed interest.

Jonas' Dad has reportedly asked for a compensation fee from Mallorca should his son be crocked before the January market opens.

Jonas was dropped for the weekend's defeat at Real Madrid, but he insisted last night: "When I play, I always give my all for Mallorca, as everyone knows.

"And if I didn't travel to Madrid, it was down to a coaching decision."
