Atletico Madrid No2 Mono Burgos is yet to discuss new terms.

Diego Simone penned a new deal to 2020 with Atletico last week.

But AS says while the rest of the staff have committed to similar deals, Burgos has not.

Simeone was given a guard of honour by players and staff before training yesterday to celebrate his new deal.

Burgos explained to the players in the morning that he wouldn't be taking part in the guard of honour as he still hasn't signed his contract renewal. The squad were taken aback.
