Norwich City midfielder Leroy Fer has welcomed comparisons with Arsenal legend Patrick Vieira.

The former FC Twente star is having a growing influence on Norwich's play.

"That's a nice comparison because Vieira is a legend. But I do not think the comparison is quite right. They say mainly this because I'm big and strong.

"But he was much better than I am now," said Fer.
