Newcastle United are chasing QPR striker Charlie Austin.
The Sun says Newcastle supremo Mike Ashley will bankroll an ambitious £10million bid for Austin at the end of the season.
Toon are turning to Austin after being crowded out of the race for Burnley Bosman Danny Ings.
Austin is expected to leave QPR this summer.
