Newcastle United boss Alan Pardew says he needs to see new signings coming through the front door in the coming days.
Pardew is desperate to add to his squad.
The manager said: "Even without the (Yohan) Cabaye situation, that's something we know we have to try to do.
"I think we have done a good bit of business with Loic Remy, I really do. From that point forward, it's a good start and we need to finish it off.
"The transfer policy here is that we keep our news to ourselves if we are going to go and buy players, and we are going to try to stay on that course.
"But it's pretty obvious that we would like to get one or two over the line."
