Manchester United midfielder Daniele Petrucci has won a first call to the Italy U21 squad.

Italy coach Ciro Ferrara will hold a three-day training camp for the Azzurrini from January 16 to 18 in Rome. It will include a friendly against Ischia Isolaverde on Wednesday.

Petrucci has recovered from a long-term knee injury this season to be a regular in United's reserve-team. The midfielder joined United three years ago from AS Roma and has been likened to Francesco Totti.
