Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson hopes to field Paul Scholes in the final games of the season.

With time ticking away on what seems certain to be Scholes' last season, Ferguson wants the 38-year-old back in his team again.

"I could still have Paul Scholes fit in the next couple of weeks," he said.

"He deserves to play in the last few games."
