Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has likened Darron Gibson to Chelsea star Frank Lampard.

He said: "Darron is of the Frank Lampard type in terms of his shooting. If he gets to that percentage of goals, we will have done well.

"The lad has improved a lot. He's a passing player endowed with different abilities to our other players."
