Manchester City are chasing Borussia Dortmund midfielder Sven Bender. The Hamburger Morgenpost says the Germany international is a summer target for City and PSG.

City have identified Bender as the ball-winning midfielder their flagging engineroom lacks and is ready to make an offer to BVB at the end of the season.

Bender is tied to Dortmund until 2017 and management will be reluctant to lose the midfielder.

With Sebastian Kehl due to hang up his boots and Ilkay Gundogan's future clouded, the prospect of also losing Bender will be a hammer blow to BVB.
