Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas has told Liverpool not to worry about signing Alexandre Lacazette.
A report from Foot Mercato over the weekend suggested that the Reds had made the 24-year old striker their number one summer target but Aulas has played down their reported interest.
"Your information is false. Liverpool have not called and what European cup are they playing in? They have neither the means nor the interest," the Lyon president posted on Twitter.
Lacazette, who scored 27 goals in Ligue 1 last season, is also being linked with Manchester City, Chelsea and Arsenal.
